The "Vape Life" shirt was my first screenprinted shirt I had ever designed and printed by myself.
I wanted to play with the idea of vaping and how many people (primarily younger people) use vapes. Not a smoker or vaper myself, I thought to use an inhaler as a joke and I wanted to make the illustration somewhat similar to the classical or traditional tattoo design with a banner and roses.

As a big fan of Star Wars and a lot of other pop cultural influences, I wanted to make a shirt primarily for myself that reflected my love of the franchise. I went with the "Rebel Scum" tagline and decided to make the design evocative of a grungy, "scummy" look. A skull wearing a Rebel Alliance helmet and an encompassing circular design was used to keep everything together while still giving off that grungy look.
